§ 01 — Solutions

Three ways to make internal sessions more useful

Each engagement is scoped around what your team needs — from a half-day planning session to a complete off-site programme.

← Back to Home
§ 02 — Our Approach

How every engagement is structured

Every Rivermark engagement follows the same basic sequence, regardless of its scope: a first conversation to understand the team's situation, a preparation phase where we develop the session structure, in-room facilitation, and a written output that closes the work.

What differs between the three engagements is the depth of each phase. A Retreat Planning Working Session is largely preparation-focused — the output is an agenda and preparation note, and the facilitation element is limited. A Workshop Facilitation Engagement is primarily an in-room engagement. The Off-site Programming Programme extends across multiple weeks and includes all three phases in their most developed form.

In every case, the session design responds to what the internal sponsor tells us the team needs. We do not carry a preferred framework or model that shapes every engagement in the same direction.

Preparation conversation

Understand the team's situation and what the session needs to accomplish.

Session design

Develop a written agenda and preparation note for participants.

In-room facilitation

Lead the session according to the agreed structure, with appropriate flexibility.

Written readout

Deliver a factual summary of decisions, open questions, and follow-up steps.

§ 03 — Service One

Retreat Planning Working Session

A facilitated session that helps a small leadership team plan an upcoming internal retreat. The work covers the topics worth discussing, the rhythm that suits the group, the materials worth preparing in advance, and the kind of follow-up the team would like to leave the retreat with. The output is a working agenda, a short preparation note, and a list of supporting materials.

How it works
01

Initial conversation (approx. 45 minutes) to understand the retreat's purpose, the team composition, and the topics under consideration.

02

Rivermark drafts a preliminary agenda and circulates it to the sponsor for review.

03

A working session (approx. 2 hours) to refine the agenda, align on timing, and confirm the supporting materials list.

04

Final agenda and preparation note delivered within three working days.

Best suited for

Teams planning a one- or two-day retreat who want to arrive at it with a clear agenda, rather than working one out on the day. Particularly useful when the topics to address are not yet agreed or sequenced.

Typical timeline

End-to-end: one to two weeks from first contact to final deliverables.

§ 04 — Service Two
How it works
01

Scoping conversation to establish the workshop's topic, the desired outcome, and the team's current context.

02

One to two preparation conversations with the internal sponsor to develop the agenda and session materials.

03

In-room facilitation of the workshop (typically a half day to a full day).

04

Written readout delivered within three working days of the session.

Best suited for

Teams that have a specific operational topic to work through and want a facilitator to structure and hold the conversation so that the people in the room can focus on the substance.

Typical timeline

End-to-end: two to three weeks from first contact to final readout.

Workshop Facilitation Engagement

An engagement to facilitate a single internal workshop on an operational topic chosen by the company. The work includes agenda drafting, preparation conversations with the internal sponsor, in-room facilitation, and a written readout after the session. The engagement is centred on helping the team have a structured conversation it has already decided to have, rather than introducing topics externally.

Off-site programme in session Programming · RM 4,250

Off-site Programming Programme

A multi-week programme that designs the full programming for a two- or three-day internal off-site, working closely with the internal sponsor. The programme covers structured working sessions, quieter reflection time, optional informal blocks, and a documented closing readout. The engagement does not include venue, travel, or hospitality arrangements, which remain with the company's own coordinators.

Full two- or three-day programme design
Structured working sessions and reflection blocks
Optional informal programming blocks
Documented closing readout for all participants

How it works
01

Initial scoping conversation to establish the off-site's purpose, duration, expected number of participants, and key topics.

02

Multi-week design phase: programme structure drafted and iterated with internal sponsor across two to three review conversations.

03

Participant preparation note circulated before the off-site begins.

04

In-room facilitation across all structured sessions during the off-site.

05

Written closing readout delivered within five working days of the final session.

Best suited for

Teams planning a multi-day off-site who want the programming designed to hold a coherent thread across sessions, rather than a loose sequence of unrelated activities.

Typical timeline

End-to-end: four to six weeks from first contact to final readout, depending on off-site complexity.
